October Wargames Association
Long standing city centre Wargames club and my local group The October Wargames Association meets weekly to play many different games including:
Board Games – Settlers of Catan, Civilisation, Carcasonne and others
Wargames- Warhammer, Pirates of the Spanish Main, D+D Minis, Star Wars Minis, Many Historical Periods and rules : POW, DBM, DBA, WRG, many skirmish games : western gunfights, Napoleonic you name it and we will try it!
Roleplaying games. D+D, Traveller, HARP, C+S, Judge Dredd and others.
We meet every Tuesday night 6.30 to 10.30. Bull Ring Tavern, Digbeth Birmingham.

Spirit Games
In Burton on Trent. Phil the owner is one of the most knowledgeable guys i know on games. You need to track down a game I would suggest you talk to him. Actually now in 3 buidlings all next / opposite each other. They have a roleplaying shop, board games/ family games and also now Andy Dumelow the 2nd hand wargames figure chap is there two. Good place for a nice run and then a pint in a Burton Pub!

Leisure Games
This is a very good mail order service. You order an item and it arrives quite often the next day. The shop is worth a visit but is in North Fincheley and so pretty out of the way unless you are in the area as I was one day.
